五月，星工厂艺术中心将笑着为您敞开它的艺术之门，邀您共享愉悦的艺术发现之旅。

    星工厂是为方便艺术爱好者而成立的一个新的艺术中心。它的名字来源于光芒四射，闪亮耀眼的星星。

    星光—星光闪烁—我们希望能让所有前来的朋友欣赏到能照亮你们心灵的艺术作品。

    这次画展展出的是两位年轻的中国画家的作品。

    两位画家都都在星光中看到了自己的梦想，从家乡来到北京，之后又到各国游历，开拓眼界—现在回到北京跟大家一起分享他们的艺术之光。

    这次诸位在我们宽敞的展厅中欣赏到的画作都是他们多年艺术探索之后的成熟之作。他们的风格完美地融合了人间的色与天堂的形，如抽象的光。

    李新辉画的星星已经成为我们空间的标志。孩提时代的新辉就常常望着星空任想象驰骋，后来更梦想能在星河中自由翱翔穿梭。他画的星星远不止是单纯的五角几何图形—它们展示着成长的过程，闪烁着光和希望。

    刘龠和李新辉的联展是计划已久的事情，因为他们追寻的都是来自天之光的艺术梦想。刘龠追随着他的心之光，在北京，巴黎，纽约等各大城市用他的画笔在画布上记录下他的感觉，情感和印象。每一个光之城都给他光与色的灵感。看他的作品，您会嗅到光与色的诱人滋味，随之超越时间与空间，漫游无穷。

    也许现在断言两位艺术家会给人们留下长久深刻的印象还为时过早。但我相信他们的光亮会随着中国艺术闪耀至永恒—

     星光—星光闪耀。

Nova Art Coordinates is pleased to open the doors of its Art Center on the May Day holiday and invite you in to share with us a moment of joy and amazement.

We are a new gallery in the Beijing area for the encouragement of art appreciation. Our name derives from that of a star showing a sudden burst of brightness and intensity of light.

Star light…Star bright… accordingly, it is our quest and challenge to offer to all who visit these Coordinates the opportunity, on a regular, ongoing basis, to follow and appreciate enlightened artists who demonstrate the ability to lighten and brighten your psyche.

Both have realized their wishes upon a star, beginning from origins  in a Chinese province, journeying to Beijing, expanding their horizons with international travels and experience—and then returning to Beijing to share their wanderlust with us in the Chinese capital.

The canvases of both which are on display in our large space are some of those which they have arrived at after a considerable number of years of dedication to the fundamentals of their craft. Their styles have progressed to a synthesis in abstraction and luminosity, earthy color and celestial pentagram.

Two young Chinese artists are featured in this exhibition at the Nova Art Coordinates.

The stars of Li Xinhui have become the symbol of our space. Just as Xinhui journeyed in his development from the wonder of a child at the stars in the sky to the dream of flying among the stars in the heavens, we find ourselves amazed and mesmerized from gazing at Xinhui’s stars. They are much more than five pointed geometric shapes. They show us progression, development, light and hope.

There is method in pairing Liu Yue’s Beijing work with that of Li Xinhui. Yue has followed a similar artistic dream of celestial light which led him to express his feeling and impressions on canvas in some of the major capitals of the world including Beijing, Paris and New York. Each famous city of light inspires him to reveal strong color and light in exquisite flourishes which amaze you and make you wonder and help you to imagine about more than the here and now.

May we be so bold to claim that these two artists will be remembered long beyond the exhibition. Their light and brightness will shine on into the infinity of future generations of Chinese art and beyond and beyond—

         Star Light—Star Bright.
